We feel it too… the weight of four-dollar gas and the chants about cars killing us all. So we sought out the four-wheeled poster children of this new world: The Toyota Prius & The Smart ForTwo.
Admit it, you’ve wondered if you should buy one of these. There’s a great temptation to drive an efficient car efficiently, but efficient is rarely fun. So we drove them exactly like any other car, to see if they stack up.
If you’re one of those people interested in the comparison math and stats of it all, then you can find that HERE. We’ve broken down the real cost and comparison of these cars in written form.
But on this episode – We don’t care if you should drive one of these…. The real question is, do you WANT to.
OH!… And the other great question of the universe: Is the Prius the most common car on the road?

Hi,
if you want to save fuel and have fun to drive on a mountain road while carrying 4 people then try a BMW 320d.
I had a E46 it had only 150HP @ 4000rpm but it also had 330NM @ 2000rpm.
0-62 in 9.9s top speed 136mph
44mpg with cruise contol @ 81 mph on Autobahn
36mpg average of driving 70,000 miles
Which helps you a lot keep smiling while driving when you pay $6.92 per gallon Diesel like we do at the moment in Germany.
Happy New Year
